How It All Started
Ted first sold trees with his father, Theodore Belanger II when he was just a boy.
Later, he went into business with a friend for a few years and for a
time sold choose-and-cut trees at the Belanger's farm in Skowhegan,
Maine. A short time later he began selling in Auburn, Maine, hauling
trees to a Christmas tree lot he rents annually. He and his crew can
still be found there every year around Christmastime.
Ted lives with his wife, Wendy, and his daughter, Kirstie, in Skowhegan, Maine. His oldest daughter, Amy, lives nearby with her husband, Joel, and her two children- Andrew and Eden.
As children, Amy and Kirstie set up a small Christmas tree in their bedroom, which didn't compare to the incredibly large tree that occupied their living room! Andrew is carrying on the tradition with a tree he sets up in his room as well.
